Meal times are a particularly good source of learning. All the children are encouraged to sit down together and serve themselves, placing an early emphasis on social graces and table manners. Children eat each meal with staff and peers in a family environment and they are encouraged to try a wide variety of foods and learn the skill of self help. The children come together at mealtimes to eat, talk and enjoy the social occasion!
Weekly menus are displayed on the parent’s notice board and we will discuss any special diets or allergies with parents and ensure that all children are catered for accordingly.
If your child has specific dietary requirements, whether medical, cultural, ethical, religious or just based on your personal preference, please discuss these with us and we will do our best (within reason) to accommodate your child’s individual diet requirements.
